Description
Hyosung’s BLDC is compact and lightweight through the adoption of a high-performance SmCo permanent magnet and also via adopting the coil and insulation specifications, which can endure high temperatures of up to 180ºC. Its exterior is made of aluminum alloy to resist vibration and shock. Its structural characteristics are strong against vibration and shock, and are designed and manufactured according to military standards. The BLDC motor, which is mass-produced, is available from 0.6~106 kW, up to 25,000rpm. The induction motor for a torpedo adopts a 7-phase motor for maximizing its output.
Features
- Use of high-performance permanent magnet: SmCo (small and lightweight)
- Ensures high reliability by performing environmental tests (vibration, temperature/humidity, shock)
- Reduction gear integral design
- Designed strong against vibration and shock using an aluminum alloy frame (small BLDC)
- Adopts the military standards
Application
- Torpedo thrust motor
- Missile Actuator
