Clutch Shaft/Shaft
A clutch (or a friction clutch) is a device which transmits motion between the two kinematic systems rotating at different angular speeds.
We produce/Supply the following types of clutch:
- Multiple disc (multidisc), mainly for oil bath and dry applications at low speed.
- Single-disc, only for dry applications.
They can be controlled in the following ways:
- Hydraulic
- Pneumatic
- Electromagnetic
They can operate in the following ways:
- POSITIVE:
the control connects the transmission; the clutch engages when oil, air or voltage is supplied.
- NEGATIVE (with springs pressure):
the control disconnects the transmission; the clutch disengages when oil, air or voltage is supplied.
The Different types of clutches available Include:
- Hydraulically controlled clutches
- Pneumatically controlled clutches
- Electromagnetic clutches
SAMT is specialised in the design and supply of Power Transmission solutions and complete package designa nd supply including Motors, gearboxes, Brakes & Clutches.
